New service offered at our Library
We can digitize your family history, photo albums or scrapbooks and make them into CDs that can be shared with family and friends. These make great gifts for children and family. They also safeguard your original by having a copy you can place away from the original in case of some disaster. Make CDs for family reunions, class reunions, anniversary parties or birthdays or Christmas. Call the Genealogy Library for pricing.

New Resource Available
After more than four years, volunteers at the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Library have completed a list of residents for the year 1890 which will replace the 1890 census. For every name found, researchers were tasked with finding the birth date and place, the parents’ names, including the maiden name of the mother, the marriage date and place and to whom, and the children for each family. A code indicating the source of information for each resident is also included.
The residents' list has been published and is available in a printed three volume set, containing 1396 pages with an alphabetical listing, or on CD. The set sells for $75.00 plus $5.44 tax and $12.00 shipping. The CD is $75.00 plus $5.44 tax and $2.50 shipping. Orders should be sent to PCH&GL, 210 North Court St. Circleville, OH 43113.
