Cigarette Assessments

ASSESSMENTS DOWN OVER 90 YEAR PERIOD
Cigarette prices have skyrocketed since 1922, but assessments for the sale of cigarettes and tobacco items have dropped. In 1922 the cost of a permit was $50.00. The cost now is $30.00. The following is a list of businesses in 1922 who purchased a permit for trafficking in cigarettes or cigarette wrappers or any substitute for either.
